The Rig

Everything that's been done to the Oogie Boogie Jeep, organized by category. The foundation that set the whole build story in motion.

37-inch tires on the Oogie Boogie Jeep — the modification that kicked off the whole build roadmap

Tires & Traction

37-inch tires on factory 4.10 axle gears — the foundation that set the whole build story in motion.

  • 37″ Tires

Running 37-inch tires on the factory 4.10 gears. The larger diameter revealed the gearing gap that drives Phase 1 of the build roadmap.

  • 4.10 Factory Axle Gears

Stock Dana 44 gearing (4.10). Combined with 37s, this ratio effectively equates to running stock tires on approximately 3.36 gears. Re-gearing to 5.13 is Phase 1.

Armor upgrades on the Oogie Boogie Jeep — Fab Fours Grumper, steel fenders, rock sliders, and rear bumper

Armor

Heavy steel protection wrapping every angle of the rig.

  • Fab Fours Grumper

Fab Fours combination grille/bumper (Grumper) — steel front-end protection that replaces the factory bumper and integrates with the steel fenders.

  • Steel Front Fenders

Steel tube-style front fenders with inner fender liners. Clearance for 37s plus rock protection at the corners.

  • Steel Rear Fenders

Matching steel rear fenders with rear inner fenders. Full coverage front to rear.

  • Rear Bumper

Steel rear bumper replacing the factory unit. Trail-rated protection at the rear.

  • Rock Sliders

Full-length rock sliders along the rocker panels. Protects the body and pinch seams on technical terrain.

Style upgrades on the Oogie Boogie Jeep — Sinbad Purple control arms, doors-off mirrors, and foot pegs

Style

Purple control arms, doors-off capability, and trail-ready details that make it unmistakably Oogie Boogie.

  • Sinbad Purple Control Arms

Custom-finished control arms in Sinbad Purple — ties the suspension geometry to the Nightmare Before Christmas color palette and makes a statement under the lifted body.

  • Steering Stabilizer

Upgraded steering stabilizer for improved on-road tracking and reduced shimmy on the trail with the larger tires.

  • Doors-Off Mirrors

Dedicated mirrors for doors-off driving. Full legal compliance with no doors installed — essential for open-air trail runs.

  • Foot Pegs

Doors-off foot pegs for cabin entry and exit without the lower door sill in place.

MB Quart audio system on the Oogie Boogie Jeep — RGB soundbar, dash speakers, three amplifiers, and a 10-inch sub

Audio

MB Quart RGB soundbar, multi-amp setup, and a sub that keeps the spooky soundtrack playing on the trail.

  • MB Quart RGB Soundbar

MB Quart overhead soundbar with RGB lighting. Weather-resistant, Jeep-specific fitment, tuned for open-air and rooftop listening.

  • 6″ Dash Speakers

MB Quart 6-inch dash speakers replacing the factory units. Improved staging and clarity at trail speeds.

  • 3× 50A Amplifiers

Three 50A amplifiers powering the full system. Dedicated amp per zone for clean separation and headroom.

  • 10″ Subwoofer

10-inch subwoofer for low-end extension. Mounted in the rear cargo area for solid bass response.

Dana 44 drivetrain on the Oogie Boogie Jeep — factory front and rear axles with lockers and 4.10 gears

Drivetrain

Dana 44 front and rear axles from the factory, with lockers and 4.10 gears — the platform that Phase 1 will upgrade.

  • Dana 44 Front Axle

Factory Dana 44 front axle — 210mm ring gear, reverse-cut / high-pinion configuration for optimal ground clearance and strength.

  • Dana 44 Rear Axle

Factory Dana 44 rear axle — 220mm ring gear. Matched front and rear for gear ratio consistency.

  • Factory Front & Rear Lockers

Electronic locking differentials front and rear — Rubicon-standard. Full traction on demand at the push of a button.

  • 4.10 Gears (current)

Current factory 4.10 ratio. Running 37-inch tires on these gears effectively lowers the mechanical advantage. Phase 1 re-gears to 5.13 to restore the intended torque delivery.
